FUMÉ BLANC & Sauvignon Blanc
For more than five decades, our family’s story has been intertwined with Sauvignon Blanc. When founder David Stare planted the first vines in Dry Creek Valley in 1972, he began a lifelong passion that still guides us today. His pioneering Fumé Blanc and our vibrant Dry Creek Valley Sauvignon Blanc together embody the purity, balance, and “No Compromises” spirit that define Dry Creek Vineyard.
For more than fifty years, Sauvignon Blanc has been at the heart of Dry Creek Vineyard. When our founder, David Stare, planted the first Sauvignon Blanc vines in Dry Creek Valley in 1972, he sparked a love affair that continues to this day. His original Fumé Blanc became an instant classic — crisp, refreshing, and true to its Loire Valley inspiration.
Today, second-generation owners Kim and Don Wallace carry that passion forward with our Dry Creek Valley Sauvignon Blanc, a vibrant expression of the valley David helped define. Crafted with the same “No Compromises” philosophy that has guided our family for more than five decades, both wines capture the purity, character, and sense of place that make Dry Creek Vineyard a trusted name in every glass.
