On Sunday, July 15, 2007, from 10:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. we are hosting an exclusive preview tasting for wine club members and their guests. You will be greeted with coffee, juices, and pastries, followed by this special tasting.  Best of all, there is no charge to attend.

our new proprietary blended red wine called, The Mariner. This one-day only cellar event will give club members the chance to be the first to taste this wine. The Mariner (vintage 2004) is the product of years of planning and vineyard development by our winemakers, Bill Knuttel and Lisa Bishop Forbes, to produce a wine that perfectly expresses the unique fruit character of the Dry Creek Valley. This delicious Claret-style blend uses all five noble Bordeaux varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot). Ultimately, The Mariner represents a new era in winemaking at Dry Creek Vineyard.

As an added bonus, members will have the chance to taste and buy another exclusive first.

This specially bottled wine from the 2005 vintage celebrates the 35^th anniversary of the winery and 20^th anniversary of the wine club.  Join us on Sunday when we will unveil this extraordinary commemorative wine.
