From our very first vintage in 1972,
Chardonnay has contributed
enormously to our success and has helped put
Dry Creek Vineyard on the world wine map.
The crisp and balanced nature of our
Chardonnay has always been immediately
appealing. However, given our desire
to produce a more distinctive wine, in 2003,
we transitioned our production to the
Russian River Valley and away from the
former Sonoma County designation.
Our Foggy Oaks Chardonnay, released in the
Fall of 2010, is our purest expression of
Russian River Valley Chardonnay to date.
The grapes for this beautiful wine come from
our estate vineyard, which is shrouded in
fog and mist for most of the summer. The
cool climate orientation of the land along
with the careful cultivation of the vineyard
offers grapes that are full flavored yet
maintain a wonderful balance and acidity.
Foggy Oaks Chardonnay is a family dreamed
realized and has been more than a decade in
the making. If you haven’t had the
opportunity to taste this wine or share it
with your accounts, please ask for a sample
bottle. It is truly an incredible wine and
one we are extremely proud of.
