Four Clones Vineyard

DCV2 represents our most recent planting of Zinfandel.  Located in the front half of the winery, this 4.5 acre parcel was planted in the head-pruned style and is a throwback to a bygone era of grape growing in the Dry Creek Valley.

The Original

Without a doubt, DCV3 is the crown jewel of our estate vineyards. Home to the original planting of Sauvignon Blanc in the Dry Creek Valley, DCV3 has been called one of America’s great heritage vineyards.

Bullock House

Located across Lambert Bridge Road from the winery, DCV6 was recently replanted to Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc to help support the winery’s vision for estate Sauvignon Blanc and Bordeaux varietal production.

Heritage Vineyard

Our DCV7 Estate Heritage Vineyard is one of our proudest achievements. Using old vine budwood, grafted onto young rootstock, it preserves the heritage or link to historic old vine Zinfandel vineyards in the Dry Creek Valley.

Farmhouse Vineyard

Located in the Russian River Valley, DCV8 provides us with the ideal fruit contrast to our warmer Dry Creek Valley home appellation. Planted to Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel, this vineyard remains one of our backbone properties in Sonoma County.

Endeavour Vineyard

For 20 years, we scoured the Dry Creek Valley in search of the finest site to grow Bordeaux varieties. This 30-acre bowl shaped parcel in the Lytton Springs district represents the second generation’s vision for world class grape growing and winemaking in the Dry Creek Valley.

Foggy Oaks Vineyard

Our Russian River Valley vineyard provides us with the ideal microclimate to grow outstanding cool climate grapes such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The maritime influences strike just the right note of flavors and acidity to produce a perfectly balanced wine.

Somers

Somers Ranch

This incredible Dry Creek Valley property has provided us with stellar Zinfandel for more than 25 years. We use some of the fruit for our Heritage Vines Zinfandel bottling and also produce a power-packed single vineyard wine using grapes from two adjacent western facing hillside parcels from this famed vineyard.

Beeson

Beeson Ranch

Beeson Ranch is one of Dry Creek Valley’s iconic old vine vineyards. Dating back to 1896, this head-pruned, dry farmed property is truly a labor of love. The fruit comprises both a portion of our Old Vine Zinfandel as well as a single vineyard bottling named after the ranch.

Duff Bevill

Duff Bevill

Vineyard Manager

Our vineyard manager, Duff Bevill, is equally passionate about the notion that great wine starts in the vineyard. With more than 20 consecutive years of hands-on experience managing both our estate and contract vineyards, Duff is a big reason our wine quality remains consistently excellent.

Because a commitment to vineyard diversity is the cornerstone of our winemaking philosophy, Duff Bevill has the formidable challenge of maximizing fruit quality from each of 12 different vineyards – including 10 individual estate properties. For more than two decades, he has acquired knowledge about even the most subtle differences between vineyards and how fine-tuning viticultural practices brings out the best from each.  In May 2006, Duff was awarded with the prestigious Viticulture Award of Excellence from the Sonoma County Grape Growers Association.
