Dry Creek Vineyard Joins Rolex
to Honor the Rolex Yachtsman and Yachtswoman of the Year

Dry Creek Vineyard raises a glass in salute to the recipients of sailing’s highest honor and to Rolex, who bestows today’s award and remains one of sailing’s most enduring sponsors. The winery will support many of the Rolex sailing events this year and will soon announce an exciting partnership with US SAILING to support their national educational and team building activities.

Founded in 1972 by David Stare, Dry Creek Vineyard was the first new winery in the renowned Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County following the days of Prohibition. The classic sailing yachts depicted on all of the family winery’s labels reflect the family’s passion for the sport of sailing.

Crafting wines from small individual lots, each fermented and barrel aged separately, Dry Creek Vineyard has earned a reputation for producing consistent award-winning wines of distinctive varietal character. At the Rolex luncheon, guests will enjoy wines from the winery’s Reserve Series, which bear labels featuring historic America’s Cup vessels once campaigned by the venerable New York Yacht Club. These wines debuted in Auckland, New Zealand during America’s Cup 2000.

Please look for Dry Creek Vineyard wines at the Acura/SORC events and many other sailing events throughout the year.
