We are proud to introduce the Foggy Oaks Chardonnay. This
incredible new  wine has been more than 10 years in the making.
The 2008 Foggy Oaks
Chardonnay is a
family dream turned
into reality. In
1999, we found a
bare piece of land,
framed by incredible
old oak trees, and
envisioned a
vineyard that would
allow us to produce
a world-class
Chardonnay. Our
vision was
straightforward -
find the right spot,
plant the best
clones, get the
right barrels and
talent, then produce
the best wine
possible.
Crisp, yet supple and inviting, this Chardonnay is a like a warm
hug from a close friend. Aromas of fresh pear, honey, apple and
vanilla rise from the glass pulling you in like Grandma’s apple
pie. On the palate, the wine displays balance and elegance
moving between fleshy pear textures and vanilla flavors along
with more subdued nutmeg and allspice characters. It is a wine
with excellent texture and great length but it doesn’t hang
around and stick to your palate – it finishes with crisp acidity
and a kiss of Meyer lemon dancing away and inviting you in for
another sip.
