Recently, we were proud to learn that not one but TWO of our wines were recognized by Wine News Magazine in their Top 125 wines of 2009. This is an incredible accomplishment and a testament to our winemaking staff who continue to produce outstanding wines.

The two wines recognized were the 2006 Somers Ranch Zinfandel and 2006 Beeson Ranch Zinfandel. Each of these vineyard designate gems are produced in very limited quantities and represent the true terroir of the Dry Creek Valley. Somers Ranch is located on the western facing slopes of the Dry Creek Valley and is planted to 20 year old Heritage vines. The 110 year-old Beeson Ranch lies on the western side of the valley but with eastern facing exposure. This vineyard is one of the true “grand dame’s” of the Dry Creek Valley. Each wine is completely distinct and offers an array of complex flavors and Zinfandel nuances.
