Ahh, it’s Fall in Wine Country – our
unofficial favorite time of year. Quite
simply, this is the most visually beautiful
time to visit wine country. The leaves on
the vines begin to change color presenting
an incredible palate of yellows, oranges,
reds and purples. The color change, coupled
with the crisp fall air and aromas of still
fermenting grape juice, tickle every sense.
All that’s needed is some warm apple pie and
cider to complete this little slice of
heaven - a true throw back to days gone by.

Savoring a Sweepstakes Award |

As we’ve said countless times before, Fumé
Blanc is what our winery is all about. And
now, others are starting to get the
message.

Our newest release of
Fumé, the 2007 vintage, won the Sweepstakes Award at this
year’s Sonoma County Harvest Fair. For those of you who don’t live
locally, it’s a huge deal in Sonoma County. (Only Sonoma County wines
are allowed to be submitted.) And a total of 1,051 wines were entered
with about 60% of the entries red and 40% white.
We are so proud of our
winemaking team for putting together such a terrific wine. And the
price can’t be beat - $14.50 a bottle! Stock up now in time for the
