Mother Nature is trying her best to deliver an
early Spring to the Dry Creek Valley – a thought
that gives many vineyard managers a few more
gray hairs than they’d like to admit. How do we
know bud break might happen early? The old
timers will tell you that as soon as they see
the fruitless plum trees start to bloom,
vineyard bloom is not far away. Our hope is
that the vines stay dormant just awhile longer.
Frost can be a major problem and those young
buds can be susceptible to just about anything –
from frost and pests to high winds.

Whether you are celebrating Easter with
family and friends, or simply enjoying a
Sunday off, our
2006 Chenin Blanc
makes a wonderful pairing with almost
any food.
|
|
|
| |
|
Traditional Easter fare includes a
honey-baked ham with scalloped potatoes
and any kind of vegetable. Our Chenin
Blanc fits right in. Paired with the
savory and sweet of the ham, Chenin
Blanc has just the right undertones of
citrus, mineral, and tropical fruit to
create a wonderfully balanced pairing.
And at just $11.50 per bottle, the price
can’t be beat! To order online, please visit our web site and
online store
or call 800-864-9463 x106. |

few remaining California
wineries serious about Chenin
